When Logan comes home to Maple Valley to visit his father and siblings, he meets Amelia, local newspaper editor and big fan of his speechwriting. He’s trying to figure out where he belongs, and she wants to support the community that has adopted her and keep her beloved newspaper in business. As they get to know one another, Amelia and Logan realize their dreams – and hearts – are aligned.
I’ve read a few of Melissa Tagg’s novels before, but I must say that Like Never Before is my favorite thus far. As a writer myself, I identified with Amelia’s and Logan’s characters – the hunt for the story, the writer’s perspective that each protagonist offered, the ways their creative experiences shaped them. However, you definitely don’t have to be a fellow writer to enjoy this fun story!
Like Never Before is full of heart. As with the rest of this series, it focuses on a member of the Walker family and his journey toward his God-designed future. I love series that center around a family and lead its members to their happy endings, and Melissa Tagg does a great job.
Make sure you check out this delightful romance! Happy reading, my friends.
My rating: 4.5/5 stars
