Review: Without Warning

41CJlL1qn5L__SX326_BO1,204,203,200_Without Warning, the latest inspirational suspense from Lynette Eason, follows bodyguard Katie and her client, Daniel. Someone seems to be targeting him and his businesses, and he’s worried that danger may spread to his family. It’s up to Katie and the team at the Elite Guardians agency to protect Daniel and his family from that threat.

I personally love stories where the tables are turned and the lady is the strong heroic character for once rather than the guy. The Elite Guardians series features a group of all-female bodyguards; each of them faces a dangerous assignment and eventually finds love, too. It’s a fun and intriguing twist on your typical knight-in-shining-whatever-saves-the-damsel-in-distress story. 🙂

This book has it all – romance, intrigue, compelling characters, and even a touch of the old Indiana Jones charm! A smidge of archaeology mixed with danger and a mystery had me flashing back to those films as I read.

Without Warning is available now, so go check it out!

My rating: 4/5 stars

Recommended for: fans of Lynette Eason, Dee Henderson, Dani Pettrey, and Irene Hannon suspense; those who have enjoyed the other Elite Guardians novels; readers who favor a mix of faith, romance, and suspense in their fiction choices; fans of stories where the female protagonist saves the day 😉

Note: I received a copy of this novel via NetGalley.
