Ladies and gents, it’s time for another fabulous book from Susan May Warren! Wild Montana Skies is available later this month, and I heartily recommend it.
Military pilot Kacey comes home to Mercy Falls, Montana, to recover from a trauma, and to reconnect with the daughter she doesn’t see enough. Meanwhile, her ex, Ben, is also on his way there. He’s back to visit his father, with no idea that Kacey – and the child he thought was given up for adoption – are also in town. Let the drama begin!
Add in the backdrop of a search and rescue team amidst the wilds of Montana, and this is a book full of adventure and community. Plus, this Montana Rescue series has the same family feel that made Susie May’s Christiansen Family series so popular. If you loved the Christiansens like I did, you’ll love this new series set in Montana.
Wild Montana Skies releases October 18th. If you’d like to get to know some of the characters and this area of Montana, check out the Montana Fire series that precedes this story (available now).
My rating: 4/5 stars
Recommended for: those who favor Susan May Warren, Becky Wade, and other authors who focus on family dynamics; fans of the Christiansen Family series; readers who enjoy adventure, faith, and family themes in their fiction choices
Note: I received a copy of this novel via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
