Review: Tangled Webs by Irene Hannon

51YgrpviYQL__SX322_BO1,204,203,200_Irene Hannon’s Men of Valor series has come to an adventure-filled, oh-so-romantic conclusion in Tangled Webs. We finally get the youngest McGregor brother Finn’s story, and boy, is it a good one!

Still recovering from the injury that ended his military career, Finn has isolated himself in a cabin in the woods outside of St. Louis. He’s trying to deal with the trauma and decide what to do next, away from his brothers’ concern. Finn isn’t making much progress – until he meets the intriguing lady next door. Suddenly, he’s got plenty to do, starting with getting to know Dana better. 🙂 When strange events begin occurring, it’s up to Finn and Dana to figure out the mystery. Someone wants them to leave, but who? Why?

Mysteries have been a favorite of mine since my first Nancy Drew book, and Tangled Webs is full of suspense and hidden motives. The swoon-worthy Finn is an added bonus. 😉 Watching him deal with the frustration of his injury, the lingering PTSD, and his growing feelings for Dana was fascinating. Dana was a delight, too – bookish, adorable, and determined to heal from her own painful memories.

Tangled Webs is available now!

My rating: 4/5 stars

Recommended for: fans of inspirational suspense from Irene Hannon, Dee Henderson, Dani Pettrey, Lynette Eason, and other similar authors; those who have been following the Men of Valor series; readers who favor inspirational romance complicated by mystery

Note: I received a copy of this novel from NetGalley.
