Who else here loves HGTV’s Fixer Upper? I ADORE Joanna and Chip, and their approach to life is refreshingly home- and family-based. Their show is all about them and their family, with a spotlight on their growing home renovation business and the Waco area. I love the way they design homes with the clients’ families in mind, with the classic and timeless appeal that is Joanna’s signature.
They’ve gone from flipping little houses in Waco, Texas, to a multi-business empire that includes branches in renovation, real estate, furniture and paint lines, a hit TV show, and now a book! The Magnolia Story is Chip and Joanna’s first book, and it’s a complete delight.
If you’ve fallen in love with the Gaines’ down-to-earth values and design style, then you’ll love this deeper glimpse into their relationship and lives. It’s a memoir, a story of family, a tale of entrepreneurship, an encouragement not to give up in the tough times – it’s everything you love from Fixer Upper written down.
The book released October 18th. If you prefer audiobooks, that format is also available. To make it even better, Chip and Jo voice the audiobook. 🙂
We got this the day it released, and I read it cover to cover in one sitting the same day. Didn’t even put it down once. That should tell you something, no?
