Review: Moving Target by Lynette Eason

41LFbtDoeRL__SX322_BO1,204,203,200_Moving Target is #3 in the Elite Guardians series. Elite Guardians is a bodyguard agency staffed with highly-skilled female bodyguards – Olivia, Katie, Maddy, and Haley. These ladies can definitely take care of themselves, but they’re not too tough or independent for love.

Maddy McKay and Detective Quinn Holcombe have been friends for years, but both have shied away from their deepening feelings. When they’re targeted by the killer Quinn’s been chasing, distance isn’t an option anymore.

Eason tells their story in a way that’ll have you rooting for Quinn and Maddy the whole time. It’s the stubborn ones that are the most fun to watch fall in love. 🙂 Both Maddy and Quinn possess stubbornness in spades, so I loved watching their relationship. Drama, suspense, romance,  dynamic characters – Lynette Eason is always good for a solid inspirational suspense story.

This is a story you’ll want to read with the lights on, as the bad guy has more than a little misplaced vengeance in mind. Eason focuses more on Quinn and Maddy’s romance and adventures, though. Somehow, you’ll want to swoon, laugh, and hide your eyes all at once with Moving Target!

My rating: 3.7/5 stars

Recommended for: fans of the Elite Guardians series; readers who favor inspirational suspense; those who enjoy authors like Lynette Eason, Dani Pettrey, Irene Hannon, Dee Henderson, etc.
